【Product details】

A powerful and vibrant large-format original abstract lithograph print from 1974 by the renowned Spanish master of contemporary art, Josep Guinovart (1927–2007).

Born in Barcelona, Guinovart is celebrated internationally for his dynamic, tactile abstract works and his major contributions to post-war Spanish avant-garde art. This striking piece features bold, expressive color contrasts of deep purple, pink, and orange strokes against a textured dark background.

Edition & Signature: Hand-signed and dated "74" by the artist in the lower right corner, and numbered 3/75 in the lower left corner.

Intriguing Provenance Note: The reverse side features a pencil inscription of the artist's name "Guinovart" along with a handwritten note in Korean that translates to "From Tokyo" (동경에서 온 것), indicating its unique past travel and collection history.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON SHIPPING FORM
Please note that this lot is for the ART SHEET ONLY (unframed).

To ensure safe and cost-effective international transit, the artwork will be shipped gently rolled and securely packaged.

Please be aware in advance that the paper will retain some natural curvature or rolling curls upon arrival. Thank you for your understanding.

Condition Report
Offered in aged gallery condition with visible signs of handling consistent with its history:

Margins & Edges: There is a minor tear/loss on the paper edge at the bottom left corner near the edition number. There is also a tiny edge nick/crease on the left margin.

Reverse Side: The back of the sheet shows noticeable age-related browning, widespread toning/foxing, and uneven discoloration from past storage, which does not affect the front graphic area.

Please closely inspect all the provided photos to examine the hand-signature, the 3/75 edition number, the lower-left corner tear, and the specific condition of the reverse side before bidding.
