Rolling Stock and Technology Driverless Trains: The three-car automatic trainsets were built by AnsaldoBreda (which merged into Hitachi Rail in 2015). The interior and exterior designs were created in collaboration with Italdesign Giugiaro. Signaling and Automation: The entire Automated Train Control (ATC) signaling system and system engineering were developed by Ansaldo STS (now also part of Hitachi Rail).
