The Macallan A Night on Earth in Scotland on limited-edition single malt whisky, created in collaboration with the acclaimed French-Japanese illustrator Erica Dorn. The Design by Erica DornKnown for her graphic design work on director Wes Anderson's films (such as Isle of Dogs and The French Dispatch), Erica Dorn developed an innovative multi-layered packaging to provide a unique visual experience when opening the box.Fire inspiration: The abstract colors and illustrations were inspired by the historic fire rituals dominant in New Year celebrations around the world.Symbolic colors: The orange-red exterior symbolizes embers and the warmth of the home, while the blue interior reveals the Scottish night sky and the tradition of "first footing" (the first step taken into someone's home after midnight).

The Whisky ProfileThe liquid was crafted to capture the flavors of the sweets traditionally shared and gifted during Hogmanay. The spirit's profile is the result of aging in selected American oak ex-bourbon casks, combined with American and European oak casks seasoned with sherry wine.ABV: Available in 40% or 43% ABV versions depending on the market.Aroma: Rich notes of vanilla, butter, baked apple, plum, almond, and homemade biscuits.Palate: A velvety sweetness reminiscent of traditional Scottish shortbread, accompanied by toasted marshmallow, dried oranges, fig, and cinnamon.Finish: Medium, sweet, with lingering notes of butterscotch and Christmas spices.
