Toimistosalilta Times Squareen: Matkani valon maailmaan
Hei, olen Viktoria Farkas. Taiteellinen matkani todistaa, että ei ole koskaan liian myöhäistä kehittää itseään uudelleen. Aikaisemmin työskentelin toimistoympäristössä, mutta vuonna 2020 lähdin elämää muuttavalle seikkailulle Yhdysvaltoihin. Tavoitteeni oli kaksijakoinen: oppia uusi kieli ja sukeltaa syvälle valokuvauksen maailmaan.
Vaihsoin toimistotuolini kameran eteen, ja New York Citystä tuli luokkahuoneeni. Olin etuoikeutettu oppimaan tunnetuilta mestareilta kuten Lindsay Adler ja tapasinkin alan ammattilaisia kuten Norbi Bánhalmi. Uusien mahdollisuuksien etsimisestä tuli nopeasti todellinen kutsumus.
Läpimurtohetkeni koitti, kun erästä valokuvastani valittiin Art Square NY -galleriassa näytettäväksi suurelle digitaalitaululle Times Squarella, kaukana siitä toimistotiedostojen maailmasta, jossa aloitin.
