A delightful Art Nouveau figural presentoir, a visiting card presentation tray, measuring circa 24,5cm in length and weighing 1225g, decorated in high relief with the figure of a young lady and orchids with their foliage. Stamped to the underside with full suite of WMF maker´s marks, used from 1903-1910. Lit: WMF English Catalogue 1906, page 167, described as a visiting card tray. Condition: Good, no significant damages or repairs. Miniscule tear in the metal at the underside, not really visible and does not affect stability. Minor wear commensurate with age.
