This coin was minted in Saint Petersburg, as indicated by the monogram “BC” (ВC in Cyrillic) on the reverse. It is a silver imperial-style piece with the arms of the Romanov dynasty and the crests of the various territories of the Russian Empire. Although minted during the height of the First World War, its preservation is uncirculated, making it a highly sought-after piece among collectors of Russian coins from the tsarist period.
