A sunken ship can be a tragedy but Ron Piet turns history upside down for a single barrel that escaped to safety. Clinging to the cannon and too weak to f ly, Ron Piet was exposed to stormy seas. He headed east to the Barrel engraved with the words “Ron 10 Years Panama”. Several days later and full of dangers having passed through a rough sea. Visibly weakened, Ron Piet clinging to a barrel finally approached a city. Hamburg! Ron Piet, who was hungry and closer to death than life, was saved! Ron Piet was once the faithful parrot of a famous pirate. Together they were considered the "horror of the seas". One fateful day his ship was attacked by other pirates and all the crew and all the cargo sank to the bottom of the sea, and the ship became a wreck. Ron Piet was lucky! He found it a magnificent bar owner, and the barrel abandoned on the Elbe beach. Not knowing what to expect, he saved them both, taking them back to his pub. Slowly, the bird recovered from the dangerous and exhausting journey. One day the man remembered the barrel in which Ron Piet had been dragged to Hamburg. Curious, he punched a hole in the barrel and discovered something incredible: the most delicious rum he had ever tasted! Rum was considered absolutely delicious, now only one name was needed. Based on the engraving of the barrel, he named the rum and the parrot Ron Piet. Together with Ron Piet, the pub owner only served this rum from that day on. They became the most inseparable duo. Only they knew the delicious secret of rum. After 10 years of maturity, RON PIET finally embarks on the long and stormy journey to Hamburg. As soon as it reaches the docks of our Hanseatic city, it gets enough rest and renews the storage time in our family-owned factory in Hamburg, to then be bottled by hand and in limited editions, for maximum enjoyment, in your world.
