Smit, Mützel, Elwes, etc. Published by Frederick Warne and Co., 1893 - 1894. Publishers’ original full Brown leather boards with gilt lettering and black design on upper covers, and spines. All page edges gilt. Book Dimensions: 26 x 18 x 4 cm and Number of Pages: 581 including index Nice publication weighing in excess of 1.8 kilograms unpackaged. Condition The book is beautifully bound, designed and illustrated. External covers are clean and in nice shape, and with light wear to corners, edges and spine ends. Internally; in nice condition. No names or inscriptions. Light foxing to some pages. Inner hinges are very good. Pages are tightly held at the gutter. The text is fresh and all coloured plates are present and in very nice condition (Please see pictures).
