"Devil's Tongue" — Jøken (Korneel Jeuken), 2023 A striking piece from Jøken's celebrated 'Blockheads' series, in which the artist builds his characters out of bold, geometric blocks — a style he calls 'New Cubism.' This devilish, sharp-suited figure with golden horns and a wild outstretched tongue captures the playful absurdity and razor-sharp linework that define his work. Vivid color, confident black contours, and an intuitive, cartoon-driven energy make this an eye-catching addition to any collection. Acrylic on panel, 48 x 57 cm, framed with glass. Signed by the artist. Sold with original signed certificate of authenticity. Korneel Jeuken (b. 1975, Venray) is a visual artist, cartoonist and illustrator whose work — under the alias Jøken — has been exhibited both in the Netherlands and abroad.
