TITLE: JOKER . Masked Tragedy:
This Cinematic Photomontage made with Digital Art techniques is a unique work of art, fusing the 400 best frames from this iconic 2019 film by Todd Phillips into a stunning Visual Mosaic. Each frame has been carefully selected from the film. The artwork brings together around 4.000 images in 50x50 cm, of which 400 are unique frames from the film. The set is designed to be appreciated both from a distance, where the portrait of the main image is formed, and up close, where the frames or scenes from the film that make it up are discovered. Depending on the distance and light, different levels of detail are revealed and perceived. This piece not only stands out for its meticulous design, but also for its ability to capture the essence of the movie in a single composition. Ideal for both film fans and art collectors, this poster is an innovative tribute that enriches any space with its presence. Through these artworks I wish to pay tribute to these iconic films and performances that redefined cinema, capturing unforgettable characters and impactful narratives that continue to resonate deeply within popular culture.
LIMITED EDITION 3/8
TECHNIQUE: Each cinematic mosaic is created using a structured digital photomontage workflow. Approximately 4,000 film frames are extracted in JPG format, from which the 400 most representative ones are carefully selected. These are resized, color-adjusted, and systematically arranged into a single composite image.
The process relies on layered compositions, controlled transparencies that highlight the background or the main character depending on the composition, and precise pixel density management. Two mosaic scales are used: 2X for the background and 1X for the character—with the latter employing smaller fragments to define features with greater precision. The entire process involves manual adjustments via custom Photoshop actions, ensuring accuracy, visual coherence, and a high-resolution final result. Neither Midjourney nor any other form of artificial intelligence is used.
MATERIAL: ALUMINIUM PRINTING: This Artwork will be printed in a White Aluminium Multi-layer Panel (Eurobond Thompson) 3 mm tick, composed of two white aluminium sheets on the outside and one black polyethylene core. A rigid and weatherproof material, ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. A scratch-resistant protective gloss varnish is applied to the panel at the end of the printing process to protect it from scratches and UV light.
IMPORTANT: The corners of the panel are slightly rounded. The buyer will receive by e-mail a digital certificate of authenticity.
DELIVERY within 7/14 days (depending on the destination country), Shipping to Europe and UK, well protected in a cardboard box with tracking link and insurance. Please note that combined shipping is not possible, as each print is shipped separately and with individual transport insurance.
NO FRAME: Keep in mind that the wood frame of the 2nd image is not included, it is only a finishing proposal for the presentation.
NO HANGING KIT INCLUDED: Please note that no mounting system is provided, leaving the decision to the buyer whether to frame the piece or simply rest it on a piece of furniture.
KEYWORDS: Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Chaos, Madness, Gotham, Laughter, Anarchy, Clown, Crime, Society, Revenge, Tragedy

I’m Nico (1977), the artist behind NicDA, a digital artist and architect based in Alicante, Spain. For more than twenty years, I have worked between art, design, and 3d animation, developing a personal approach to visual storytelling.
My architectural background shapes my sense of composition, structure, and detail. Today, my work focuses on cinematic digital art, particularly through Movie Mosaic, where hundreds of carefully selected film frames are transformed into a single, detailed artwork.
Created in my studio in Spain, each piece is conceived as a limited-edition work for those who see cinema not only as entertainment, but as a source of memory, emotion, and visual culture.
Over the years, my artworks have become part of private collections, living spaces, offices, and home cinemas across Europe.
