Tämä erottuva Calabash-tyylinen tulppa on käsityövalettu oikeasta blokkimeerschaumista Eskişehirissä, Turkissa—a city with a centuries-old tradition of meerschaum carving and pipe making.

This distinctive Calabash-style pipe is handcrafted from genuine block meerschaum in Eskişehir, Türkiye, a city with a centuries-old tradition of meerschaum carving and pipe making.

The pipe is inspired by the classic Calabash form, known for its elegant curved silhouette and instantly recognizable character. In this interpretation, the exterior of the bowl has been carefully carved and decorated, giving the traditional shape a more artistic and distinctive appearance. The detailed workmanship creates beautiful texture across the surface while preserving the graceful proportions of the Calabash design.

The pipe is completed with an acrylic stem, which complements the natural pale tone of the meerschaum and gives the overall design a refined and balanced appearance.

Genuine block meerschaum is particularly prized for its lightweight, porous and naturally heat-resistant structure. During smoking, meerschaum gradually absorbs moisture and tobacco oils. This characteristic contributes to the cool and dry smoking experience traditionally associated with high-quality meerschaum pipes.

One of the most fascinating features of genuine meerschaum is its natural transformation with use. Starting from its characteristic ivory-white appearance, the material can gradually develop shades of cream, golden yellow, honey, amber and deeper brown. Over time, every regularly smoked pipe develops its own individual patina, making its appearance increasingly unique to its owner.

The combination of the classic Calabash silhouette, detailed carved exterior, genuine Eskişehir block meerschaum and acrylic stem makes this pipe equally attractive for active smoking or as a collectible piece of traditional craftsmanship.

An elegant and distinctive interpretation of the iconic Calabash form, combining functionality, traditional craftsmanship and the unique natural qualities of genuine block meerschaum.
