SKE - "Game Over?" - 05/10
Ultra harvinainen versio, vain 10 kappaletta.
There was a time when losing a life meant only one thing: insert another coin and start over.
With Game Over?, SKE dives straight back into the DNA of the early arcade rooms. We find Pac-Man, launched in a frantic escape, pursued by the famous ghosts of the cult game. An instantly recognizable image for an entire generation that grew up to the rhythm of arcade machines, pixels and this universal obsession: hold on for a few more seconds before the Game Over.
But here, the game has changed.
Facing the colorful characters rises a huge pixelated skull, built like a digital apparition about to materialize. Below, a "LOADING…" bar seems to announce the next level... or perhaps the end of the game. SKE thus transforms a joyful memory of arcade culture into a darker, almost existential composition: continue playing, run, avoid the ghosts... for how long?
The contrast between deep black, color projections, drips, urban textures and the 8-bit aesthetics creates this characteristic encounter between popular culture, street art and contemporary pop art.
SKE’s signature stamps the work as an artistic piece that develops its own reading of the icons of our collective memory.
Game Over? is not merely a nod to Pac-Man. It is a piece of arcade culture filtered through street art, meant for those who instantly recognize these ghosts... and still remember the noise of a game that restarts. Some collectors collect images. Others collect memories of a generation.

- FRAMING ADVICE
Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.
Upon receipt, remove it carefully and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally returns to its shape before framing.
ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in do-it-yourself or decor stores.
Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and economical, they showcase the artworks perfectly.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught and versatile French artist who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. Laureate of the first prize at Urban Master (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at Challenge Color Jam (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and has also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his position in the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also asserts himself in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture work characterize a style now indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Artist Rated & Awarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to détourne Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Necklace, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), via Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the aesthetic of “Hype”: you meet the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured surfaces that sometimes resemble the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of a Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
