Hand-carved wooden case, richly gilded, with a warm patina that gives it the character of an older piece. Ornate acanthus leaf motifs and an openwork crown display fine craftsmanship inspired by 18th-century Swedish neoclassicism. Fitted with an 8-day movement striking a clear gong on the hour and half-hour. Recently serviced and in good working order. The dial with Roman numerals retains its vintage cream tone. Good overall condition, with light signs of age that enhance its decorative appeal. Carefully packaged and shipped by registered post with full insurance.
