Liliput H0 - Sähköveturi (1)

!!!Read the description!!! Early H0 electric locomotive, Probably Liliput/Kleinbahn circa 1948/50, axle arrangement C, heavy zinc die-cast, green painted, The motor and light work, the wheels turn, the worm drive on the motor needs to be renewed. Wehrmacht motor, brass wheels, headlights, used. in very good condition for its age. the locomotive works, may need minor repairs or restoration. History of engine A glimpse into the first narrow-gauge and Liliput locomotives: In 1947, apart from hand-wound private experiments, there were no usable engines - except for the so-called Wehrmacht engine: This motor was originally manufactured for anti-aircraft gun control (a "Kommandogerät 40" had about 32 of these motors!), but was also used as a windshield wiper motor in aircraft! (This Wehrmacht motor was also used by Karl Göls, Sperl Spur 0 and for a time by Piko) Erich Klein fitted the so-called "Schrack worm gear" – from the telephone counter, developed by Schrack – onto the motor shaft; Erich Klein initially conducted a lot of business with Schrack, this company was familiar to him, as he had learned the trade of "toy maker" there! Overall, the Kleinbahn and Liliput locomotives of the late 1940s are technically almost identical: Brass frame, turned wheels (brass for Klein, steel for Liliput), Wehrmacht motor, worm gear, flywheel, Märklin-type hook coupling - and the casing was shaped like a "hat" and placed on top These machines still offer excellent driving characteristics even by today's standards - excellent slow-speed operation thanks to the seven-pole motor, and decent coasting distance thanks to the flywheel mass, which can easily exceed 100cm in some machines The postage price is known and includes packaging and shipping.
