Très belle porte Dogon de grenier à grains, en bon état, avec une belle finition.
Porte africaine de grenier à grains, Dogon. Ces portes avaient pour utilité la clôture du stockage de grain en surface. La porte est dotée d’un ouvrage en relief. Dans le bois on y voit taillé des visages, à l’image des masques Kanaga, bien réputés, figures Dogon. La languette de la serrure y figure toujours. Les Dogons vivent dans la région des falaises Bandiagarra, situées à l’est du fleuve Niger, à environ 150 kilomètres de la ville de Djenné.
