Authentique triptyque orthodoxe ancien, datable du XVIIIe siècle, issu du monde grec ou balkanique de tradition byzantine tardive.
Iconographie

Panneau central :
Vierge Eleousa (Vierge de Tendresse) tenant l’Enfant Christ, partiellement recouverte d’une riza métallique repoussée à la main, destinée à protéger et magnifier l’icône.
Deux anges figurent en partie supérieure.

Volets latéraux :
Représentations de saints orthodoxes, dont Saint Démétrios clairement identifié par inscription grecque visible :
« Ὁ ἅγιος Δημήτριος ».
Les inscriptions sont en grec byzantin, confirmant une production du monde orthodoxe grec / balkanique.

Authentic antique Greek Orthodox triptych, datable to the 18th century, from the Greek or Balkan world of late Byzantine tradition.
Iconography

Central panel:
The Eleousa Virgin (Virgin of Tenderness) holding the Christ Child, partially covered by a hand-repoussé metal riza, designed to protect and enhance the icon.
Two angels appear above.

Side panels:
Depict Orthodox saints, including Saint Demetrios clearly identified by the Greek inscription:
« Ὁ ἅγιος Δημήτριος ».
The Greek inscriptions confirm a Greek/Balkan Orthodox origin.
