Victorian Solid Sterling Silver Trident/Meat Serving Fork - Fourchette - Argent - 1896 Levi & Salaman

Fine Victorian solid sterling silver trident (three-pronged) meat / serving fork, fully silver throughout, hallmarked for Birmingham 1896, maker L & S (Levi & Salaman).

The fork features an attractively decorated Rococo scroll handle, typical of late Victorian English flatware. Three long pointed tines provide excellent balance for serving and holding joints of meat.

Hallmarks (clear and legible):
• L & S – Levi & Salaman
• Anchor – Birmingham Assay Office
• Lion Passant – Sterling silver (.925)
• Date letter “m” – 1896

A quality late-19th-century example from a respected Birmingham silversmith.
