Bruichladdich 19 years old Black Art Sapero - 700ml

Rémy Cointreau-owned Bruichladdich has unveiled Black Art Sapero, a global travel retail-exclusive single malt Scotch whisky marking the first chapter of a new multi-part series.

Black Art Sapero represents a departure from Bruichladdich’s typical transparent approach, with only master blender Adam Hannett knowing the mystery behind the whisky’s provenance, barley varietals, and cask maturation profile.

The expression is aged for 19 years and bottled at 47.8% ABV. It has spent its entire maturation at the distillery on Islay in undisclosed casks.

Official tasting notes from the brand describe dark chocolate on the nose, punctuated with citrus orange zest and black cherry. The palate features malted barley, maple syrup and caramelized brown sugar, complemented with layered spices and a subtle mineral note.
