Lampe sur pied de milieu de siècle modèle ST 7128, conçue par Niek Hiemstra et fabriquée par Evolux aux Pays-Bas vers 1950, en métal émaillé noir et blanc avec une base carrée de 50 cm et une hauteur de 162 cm, abat-jour à quatre ampoules (trois vers le bas, une vers le haut) et une seule prise, en excellent état.

Fantastic floor lamp model ST 7128, designed by Niek Hiemstra and manufactured by Hiemstra Evolux, The Netherlands, circa 1950.
Hiemstra Evolux was a progressive Dutch design company based in Amsterdam, founded in 1934 by Hiemstra & Evenblij. After Evenblij left the company in 1952, Hiemstra continued independently under the name Hiemstra Evolux.
This iconic Dutch mid-century floor lamp is made of black and white enamelled metal. The shade is fitted with four bulbs: three providing downward light and one facing upward for indirect illumination. Two pull-cord switches allow different lighting configurations, making the lamp highly versatile in use.
The lamp has been fully refinished and is in excellent condition. There are a few minor dents in the shade consistent with age and use; due to the mat black finish these are barely noticeable.
A beautiful and functional Dutch design classic.
