Raffinato tavolo console de manifattura orientale realizzato in legno con elegante finitura rosso laccato, impreziosito da delicati intarsi in madreperla. Le plan rectangulaire présente une décoration centrale et angulaire avec motifs floraux e piccoli uccelli stilizzati, un tema ornamentale tipico della tradizione decorativa cinese che richiama armonia, prosperità e il legame con la natura.

La fascia sottopiano è finemente lavorata con ricchi elementi scolpiti e traforati, raffiguranti volute e motivi vegetali stilizzati. Questo tipo di lavorazione dimostra un’attenta cura artigianale e dona al mobile un effetto visivo leggero ed elegante.

Le gambe, slanciate e sagomate, presentano una struttura aperta con elementi intagliati che conferiscono stabilità e allo stesso tempo una forte valenza decorativa. Le estremità superiori della struttura sont rifinite con eleganti angoli arrotondati e ulteriori motivi scolpiti.

Il piano est incorniciato da une bordure légèrement rialzata qui met en valeur les intarsions en madreperla, créant un contraste agréable avec la couleur chaude rouge du bois.

Questo tipo di tavolo veniva tradizionalmente utilizzato come console da ingresso, tavolo da parete o tavolo da esposizione, ideale per collocare oggetti decorativi, vasi o sculture. Bonnes conditions générales. On observe des signes normaux du temps et de l’usage, y compris de légers signes superficiels sur le plan et sur la structure conformes à l’âge du meuble. Les intarsios sont globalement bien conservés.

Elegant Chinese hardwood console table with mother-of-pearl inlays – 20th century

Refined Oriental console table crafted in wood with an elegant red lacquer finish and decorated with delicate mother-of-pearl inlays. The rectangular top features finely inlaid floral branches and small birds arranged in a balanced decorative composition, a motif traditionally associated with Chinese decorative arts symbolizing harmony, nature and prosperity.

The apron beneath the tabletop is richly carved with openwork scroll and vegetal motifs, demonstrating careful craftsmanship and adding a light and elegant visual effect to the piece.

The slender legs are beautifully shaped and constructed with an open structural design that provides both stability and decorative sophistication. The upper corners of the table are gently rounded and enhanced with additional carved details, typical of traditional Chinese furniture design.

The tabletop is framed by a slightly raised border that highlights the mother-of-pearl decorations and creates a pleasant contrast with the warm red tone of the wood.
