The Macallan Edition series continues with the 5th release, and this one is all about the natural colour of the whisky! Celebrating the natural colour of the whisky, imparted by its time maturing in oak casks, Macallan teamed up with Pantone to create a rather fetching shade of purple which features on the label and presentation box. Very snazzy stuff.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pomme au caramel, poire pochée, notes de sauge savoureuses. Des éclats de notes d'agrumes nettes.

En bouche
Plus de noix en bouche, avec des noix et des noix de macadamia qui apparaissent à l'ouverture. La progression se poursuit vers des fruits d'orangerie, des alvéoles de miel et une pointe de poivre noir boisé.

Finale
Caramel au beurre, cèdre et citron.
