Up for auction is the legendary Official Star Trek Tridimensional Chess Set, released by The Franklin Mint in 1994. This is a stunning, authentic recreation of the iconic 3D chess set played by Captain James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise in Star Trek: The Original Series.
Set Highlights:
Exquisite Craftsmanship: The set features 32 precision-cast chess pieces. 16 are plated in 24-karat Gold and 16 are plated in Sterling Silver.
Architectural Game Board: The set stands approximately 14 inches (35 cm) tall. It consists of three main playing levels and four movable "attack levels" made of high-quality, clear acrylic.
Iconic Base: The structure is supported by a heavy, specially designed base featuring the 24k gold-plated Starfleet Command insignia.

Condition: This set is in excellent vintage condition. The metallic plating remains bright and lustrous. The acrylic boards are clear and well-preserved.
