A rare and highly decorative, collectible Montegrappa limited edition fountain pen, “The Queen of Hearts” 1912 Limited Edition fountain pen, made in Italy and presented in its original themed Montegrappa box.This box is numbered 0737, with the same number appearing on both the presentation box and the pen end cap, confirming it as a matching. The end cap is also marked FP, indicating fountain pen.
The pen features a green resin body with an ornate silver-tone engraved overlay, decorated with playing-card and casino-inspired motifs. The cap and barrel have detailed geometric engraving, with card-suit symbolism consistent with the Queen of Hearts theme.
The pen is fitted with an 18k gold Montegrappa nib, marked 18K / 750 / Italy, and appears to be a BB nib. The nib is richly engraved and visually intact from inspection.

There is age-related surface wear, tarnish and handling marks visible, particularly to the metal overlay and trims. The presentation box is original and matching by number, but shows signs of age and storage wear, including scuffs, edge/corner wear and surface marks. The leather dice cup also shows visible wear.
