Lichtenberg's moonlight images have been selected for many international awards and displayed outside the IRCAM / Centre Pompidou in Paris, France in 2015/16. One of his moonlight artworks recently received an honorary mention by Marion Tandé of MoMA, New York.

André Lichtenberg's work has been exhibited in museums and private galleries worldwide, including the Barbican Centre London in 1998 and Fabrica, Gallery in 2018. His artworks are represented in numerous international art collections including the prestigious Joseph Cohen Family Collection in NY.
