Description fournie par le vendeur
A finely potted shallow dish decorated in sancai-style enamels, the interior delicately carved with a sinuous dragon motif beneath a translucent glaze. The surface is enriched with vibrant green, aubergine and yellow tones, forming a lively composition of fruiting branches and foliage.
The dish bears a six-character Kangxi mark to the base, within double circles, although the piece itself is more likely to date to the mid to late Qing dynasty, based on its stylistic and material characteristics.
The glaze surface presents a natural network of age-related crackle, along with visible kiln effects and firing irregularities, consistent with traditional production techniques and long-term ageing. These features contribute to the overall character and authenticity of the piece.
A comparable example of similar technique and decoration is held in the Musée Guimet, Paris, and is provided here for reference.
Condition: showing expected signs of age and use, including surface wear, glaze lines and minor imperfections. Please refer carefully to the photographs for full condition details.
