Tranche de pallasite Admire, poliee, 39 g, provenant des États‑Unis, présentée dans une boîte d’exposition avec étiquette d’identification.
Description fournie par le vendeur
I am pleased to offer this beautiful slice of the official Admire pallasite meteorite, weighing 39 grams.
Discovered in the United States in 1881, Admire is one of the famous main-group pallasites and is highly sought after by collectors for its spectacular olivine crystals.
This slice is particularly remarkable for its very large olivine crystals, which dominate the specimen and create a stunning visual contrast with the metallic iron-nickel matrix. Some of these extraterrestrial crystals display beautiful golden to amber translucent tones when illuminated, making the specimen both scientifically fascinating and highly aesthetic.
Pallasites are among the rarest and most visually striking meteorites. They are believed to originate from the boundary zone between the metallic core and silicate mantle of differentiated asteroids.
This specimen is presented in a display box with identification label, making it ideal for collection or exhibition.

The strong contrast between the metallic matrix and the large translucent olivine crystals gives this specimen an extraordinary appearance highly appreciated by collectors.
