The 2006 vintage is considered one of the strongest vintages of the decade in Tuscany, producing wines of exceptional structure, depth and ageing potential. Crafted from a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot, Luce combines the elegance and freshness of Sangiovese with the richness and velvety texture of Merlot.
After ageing in French oak barriques, the wine reveals complex aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, blackberry, tobacco, cedar, cocoa, sweet spices and vanilla. On the palate it is full-bodied, balanced and persistent, with refined tannins and a long finish.
