An exquisite matched pair of antique glass decanters for oil and vinegar, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, showcasing refined craftsmanship and exceptional decorative presence.
Each piece is executed in a beautifully balanced twisted “turn” form, enriched with an elegant deep inward-carved decoration inspired by bamboo motifs. Unlike traditional relief carving, the design is subtly engraved into the glass, creating a sophisticated play of light, shadow, and transparency that enhances the purity of the crystal.
The glass retains remarkable clarity and brilliance, reflecting its quality and careful preservation over more than a century. Both decanters remain in excellent antique condition, displaying only the lightest traces of time consistent with age, including minor surface wear and faint scratches to the base.
A highly decorative and collectible set, ideal for a refined dining table, historic interior, or antique glass collection.
