Description fournie par le vendeur

Very beautiful oil on canvas with a very interesting technique between impressionism and surrealism.

60 x 80 cm, this work is framed in 24 carats of gold leaves on wood, by Jean Jacques Meyer (Nominated Best Framer in France ) in the last century.

The artist, LÉCAILLON Lucien, lived during the last century, and died approximately at 40 years of age. He is an artist who was born in the East side of France. He debuted his life in Alsace, which was under German occupation at the time (1870-1918). He lived and expressed his art through difficult political and economical circumstances, the First World War and the Second World War too. Lécaillon, known to discreet connoisseurs, sees two of his works preserved at the Museum of Modern Art in Strasbourg.

Me ( Seller), acquired this painting through an old friend of mine, who today sadly has been deceased for a couple of years. He loved this piece for its style and emotions. I too had time to enjoy its presence and beauty.

I’m selling this piece, because someone who truly enjoys niche artist, will give the exposure this painting needs, at home or in a gallery ( as you please).
