Verijero - Couteau gaucho vintage TIMAK Tandil Argentine – Relief argent et doré ornemental – 1960-1980

This is a masterfully crafted "Cuchillo Criollo" (Gaucho Knife) from the world-renowned cutlery hub of Tandil, Argentina. Produced by the prestigious maker TIMAK, this piece is a brilliant example of South American frontier artistry combined with mid-century luxury.

The Handle & Sheath: The knife and its matching scabbard are constructed from high-grade Alpaca Silver, featuring deeply embossed foliate scrollwork.

Gold Accents: The floral motifs are elegantly highlighted with applied gold-tone accents, creating a striking bi-metal aesthetic that signifies a "luxury grade" piece rather than a standard utility tool.

The Blade: The steel blade is stamped with the authentic "TIMAK - Tandil - Industria Argentina" mark, ensuring its regional provenance and quality forging.

Condition:

The knife is in excellent vintage condition. The silver-tone finish remains bright, and the gold-tone floral applications provide a vivid contrast. The blade is securely seated, and the matching sheath retains its original belt clip.
