Description fournie par le vendeur
A charming and elegant set of six small crystal coupes, each designed to hold a single scoop of ice cream or sorbet a refined table tradition once common in the finest French households and grand hotel dining rooms.
The coupes are fashioned from clear, lead crystal of notable purity and brilliance. Each piece features a generously wide, shallow bowl with a softly rounded profile, resting upon a sturdy, faceted stem with a pronounced collar node a detail characteristic of both the Baccarat and Saint-Louis workshops during the mid-twentieth century. The circular foot is flat and well-weighted, lending stability and a satisfying heft to the hand.
The glass is free of decoration no cutting, no engraving allowing the inherent luminosity of the crystal to speak for itself. This restrained aesthetic is consistent with the service de table tradition of both maisons, where simplicity of form was considered the highest expression of craftsmanship.
Height — 7 cm
