An elegant Renaissance model listed in the Baccarat catalog circa 1916, distinguished by its refined balloon-shaped silhouette. The decanter is unmarked, as pieces produced prior to 1936 often bear no visible signature; in this case, the original label mark has gently faded over time, leaving only the numbered identification.
The piece is entirely hand-crafted, which naturally accounts for the subtle variations and characteristics found throughout the glass. The lid is not original to the piece.
Overall, the decanter presents beautifully in very good condition for its age, with some light traces of use consistent with a well-preserved antique object over a century old.
