Description fournie par le vendeur

J. Altrichter Bb Tenor Horn – Frankfurt an der Oder, Allemagne (1910)

Extremely rare Bb tenor horn (Тенор in B) from the legendary J. Altrichter Hof-Instrumenten-Fabrik in Frankfurt an der Oder, Allemagne. Dated strictly to 1910 according to the official expert expertise from the Odesa National Musical Academy, this brass instrument has survived in beautiful vintage condition. It is a genuine museum-level German artifact, ideal for serious collectors, brass enthusiasts, and historical orchestras.

Detailed Specifications:
Brand: J. Altrichter, Hof-Instrumenten-Fabrik
Type of instrument: Bb Tenor Horn (3 rotary valves)
Accessories: Original mouthpiece included
Where it is made: Frankfurt an der Oder, Allemagne
Period / Year: 1910 (Expert certified by Odesa National Musical Academy)
Serial number: Not applicable / None Weight: 2.4 kg
Colour: Brass with natural aged patina
Material: Yellow brass
Tuners/Valves: 3 rotary valves, move freely
Parts replaced: All parts appear original; no signs of modern repairs
Damage / Defects: Excellent vintage condition. Two minor cosmetic issues: a small crack and two missing valve decorative inserts (see photos).

History and Condition:
Technical Note:
The mechanics are lubricated and move freely. Good compression for its age. However, since the instrument is an antique collectible, we strongly recommend professional cleaning, maintenance, oiling, and tuning by a brass instrument specialist before regular musical use.

Customs & Shipping:
Location: The item is located in Latvia (Riga). Latvia is an EU country. There are no import duties for shipments within the EU.
For shipments outside the EU, the buyer is responsible for checking import duties and customs fees.
Professional Packaging: We understand the fragility of vintage brass instruments. The instrument will be shipped in a sturdy, reinforced cardboard box, fully lined with 3 cm thick high-density polystyrene foam on all sides to ensure maximum protection during international transport.
Shipping Method: Shipped internationally via tracked mail with a tracking number provided.

Notice:
This instrument is over 100 years old and is sold as a collectible historical artifact. Please view all photos carefully as they are a primary part of the description
