A magnificent, highly collectible archival piece from the legendary Yves Saint Laurent "Rive Gauche" line, dating to the late 1980s or early 1990s. This vibrant yellow wrap-around statement corset belt is crafted from ultra-soft leather with a central textured suede inner lining.

The centerpiece is a striking, oversized geometric hexagonal buckle covered entirely in meticulously applied, gold-tone domed studs. Designed with a clean, hardware-free pull-through mechanism, the belt smoothly adjusts around the waist to deliver a dramatic, structured hourglass silhouette.

Condition:Overall very good vintage exterior presentation with a bold color pop. The structural front leather, suede interior lining, and gold-tone studs remain in excellent shape. The underside of the hexagonal buckle shows signs of aging, with noticeable cracking and wrinkling on the cream-colored inner stabilizer backing (see photos for full details). This does not affect the exterior wear or look of the belt. Completely authentic, featuring the signature stamped interior branding and French sizing codes.
