Description fournie par le vendeur
Offrande #04 — EA01
Limited Series: 1/8 + 2 Artist's proofs (EA)
The female body stands in a calm frontal pose, between shadow, skin and still life.
The bowl and the eggs introduce a simple, almost ritual presence, like a silent offering.
The image plays with the balance of shapes, the density of black and the softness of volumes.
An intimate and stripped-down composition, where the body becomes architecture, matter and presence.
Collector Edition — Atelier Alonso
Image format: 40 × 27 cm
Sheet format: 40 × 50 cm
Fine Art pigment print (museum quality)
Paper: Fine Art Litho Archiv Matte
Signed, numbered, stamped on the back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
Secure shipping — frame not included
Creative process
Photography built around the female body and still life elements.
The work relies on composition, photomontage, light, framing and fine retouching of textures, contrasts and tonalities.
The still life elements were integrated by photomontage in Photoshop, then refined to harmonize the light, textures, contrasts and tonalities of the final image.
About the artist
Born in Havana in 1972, Alonso is a Cuban-Spanish visual artist whose career connects cinema, photography and contemporary imagery. Trained in Madrid, he began in cinema as an assistant director and cameraman, collaborating notably with Bertrand Fèvre, Pedro Almodóvar and José Luis García Sánchez. This crossing of cinema leaves a lasting mark on his relation to framing, silence and rhythm. Based in Arles, he today develops a visual body of work present in private collections in Europe, Asia and the United States.
