A beautiful and highly decorative collection of 9 vintage oyster plates, perfect for serving oysters, seafood, appetizers, or as statement display pieces.
This set includes three different designs, each featuring beautifully sculpted shells and organic forms in elegant shades of olive green and soft blush pink. Their richly glazed finish and detailed relief make them equally suitable for entertaining or displaying in a collection.
The set consists of:
3 olive green oyster plates with textured wells;
3 blush white-pink oyster plates with shell-shaped compartments and 3 olive green majolica-style plates from Gien.
Overall, the plates are in very good vintage condition. Two plates each have a small chip, as shown in the photographs. Apart from these minor imperfections, the collection presents beautifully with bright glaze and wonderful vintage character.
A rare and eye-catching set that would make a stunning addition to any seafood table, majolica collection, or French country interior.
