This model was produced by Vannes Cristal during the 1960s–1970s. Following the restructuring of the French crystal industry, production at Vannes-le-Châtel continued under the prestigious Cristal de Sèvres brand. As a result, the same design can be found bearing either the Vannes Cristal or Cristal de Sèvres signature, reflecting the historical continuity of production rather than a difference in quality or craftsmanship.
The set remains in excellent vintage condition, with only light signs of age consistent with careful use and the passage of time. The crystal is beautifully preserved, displaying outstanding transparency and a luminous sparkle.
