Eleven years old now and yes, when purchased in 2015 the box was opened and the batteries removed after checking all functions.
Ans for the so called collectors that onle want "mint unopened boxes", think twice!!
Ask yourselves what will happen to cheap batteries left in any battery operated toy or appliance.... and if you don't know, it will ruin your toy due to battery leakage!!!
Box shows a minor corner dent due to poor packing whilst shipping, otherwise 100%.
Very nice toy, programmable remote, has it all!
