Description fournie par le vendeur
An elegant and highly collectible Baccarat “Molière” crystal decanter, dating from the early 1900s, distinguished by its refined vertical optic cuts and timeless silhouette. Crafted from exceptionally clear, hand-finished crystal, this model perfectly illustrates Baccarat’s understated elegance of the Art Deco period.
The decanter is unsigned, which is entirely consistent with Baccarat production of the period. Baccarat began consistently acid-etching its crystal with the famous scripted signature only from 1936 onwards. Earlier pieces were generally left unsigned and are identified through original catalogues, design characteristics, and craftsmanship.
The decanter is numbered on the base, an authentic production detail commonly found on period Baccarat pieces.
Presented in excellent antique condition with only light traces of age and careful use. The crystal remains beautifully transparent with an exceptional brilliance.
Please note that minor surface wear, tiny scratches, or very light signs of time are entirely normal and expected on a genuine crystal object approaching 100 years of age. These subtle marks are part of the history of an authentic antique and should not be considered defects. They do not affect either the beauty, functionality, or collectability of the piece.
A superb example of early 20th-century French crystal, equally suited for a distinguished collection or an elegant interior.
Height — 31 cm
