Cristal Boheme - boite en cristal

Crafted from richly coloured deep ruby overlay glass, this elegant lidded box showcases the exceptional brilliance of traditional Bohemian glassmaking. The domed lid is beautifully decorated with an intricate four-petal cut motif combining finely diamond-cut panels with radiating fan cuts, creating a striking interplay of light and reflection.
The body features a continuous band of polished oval lens cuts, while the underside is finished with a finely executed sunburst pattern. The combination of the rich transparent ruby colour and crisp hand-cut decoration gives the piece remarkable depth and sparkle.
Originally intended as a bonbonnière for sweets or sugar confections, it also makes an elegant jewellery, trinket or keepsake box.
The piece remains in excellent vintage condition, displaying only a few tiny, barely noticeable edge nicks and minimal signs of age consistent with careful use. Overall, it presents beautifully and retains an exceptional brilliance.
