Vintage miniature mantle clock pendant - 800 silver, gilt finish - moving pendulum
An elegant vintage miniature mantel clock pendant crafted in 800 silver with its original gilt finish.
The miniature is beautifully modelled after a traditional mantel clock with scrolling feet and a Roman numeral dial. The front reveals a small pendulum .Please note that the clock itself is decorative only and is not a working timepiece.
The reverse is clearly hallmarked CHN within a hexagonal maker's mark together with the 800 silver fineness mark. Although the maker has not been conclusively identified, the hallmark and construction are consistent with Continental European silver work dating from the mid-20th century (circa 1950-1970).

Condition:
Very good vintage condition with light surface scratches and minor wear consistent with age and careful use. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
