Longines Pocket Watch – Railroad-Open Face – Swiss Mechanical Pocket Watch – circa 1905–1915

A refined Longines pocket watch dating from the early 20th century, representing the golden age of Swiss watchmaking. Featuring a classic 50 mm open-face case, elegant white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel hands and a beautifully finished Longines in-house mechanical movement, this is a highly collectible timepiece from one of Switzerland's most prestigious manufacturers.
An especially attractive detail is the retailer's signature on the dial: J. Marinelli e Hijo, Artes y Corrientes, Buenos Aires, reflecting the historical distribution of Longines through exclusive South American retailers during the early 1900s. Such signed dials are increasingly appreciated by collectors for their historical significance.
The movement bears the Longines signature and exhibits the fine finishing characteristic of the manufacture. The inner case is stamped with the EFCo (E. Francillon & Co.) emblem, confirming original Longines production.
