Offered here is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a complete collection (227 cards) of the legendary 2002 Pokémon Legendary Collection, a collection including mint-graded versions of all significant cards in the set. This set is famous for introducing the "Reverse Holofoil" fireworks pattern—the most distinct and beloved holographic effect in the history of the TCG.
This collection contains ALL the cards of the set and with that is a true complete masterset;
Complete Main Set (1-110): All 110 cards from the standard set (19 holo and 91 non-holo), including the iconic Big Three: Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur.
Complete Reverse Holo Subset: Includes the rare Reverse Holo variants that define this era of collecting.
Complete set of Box Toppers that were included in the booster boxes of the set.
Complete set of special non-holo versions of Charizard, Blastoise and Raichu that were included in the theme decks.
Authenticated: all holo, reverse holo, box topper and theme deck cards have been professionally authenticated and encapsulated by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) and graded Mint (3 cards Gem.Mint).
Nostalgia & Rarity: As the first "reprint" set in Pokémon history, this collection features the legendary Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket artwork with a premium early-2000s finish.
The Legendary Collection was printed in much lower quantities than Base Set or Fossil, making high-grade complete sets exceptionally difficult to assemble due to very low POP numbers, very hard to find mint raw copies and current market value of booster boxes around € 150.000.
