Baccarat - Carafe - Cristal

An elegant vintage crystal decanter by Baccarat, distinguished by its refined proportions and exceptionally delicate engraved decoration.
The decanter features a beautifully balanced silhouette, with a generously rounded body rising through a stepped shoulder into a long, slender neck. The clear crystal is remarkably luminous, allowing the intricate engraved décor to stand out with great delicacy.
The body is richly decorated with an elaborate acid-etched floral and scrolling arabesque motif, composed of stylised flowers, fine foliage, delicate curls and symmetrical ornamental elements. The complexity and lightness of the pattern create an almost lace-like effect across the crystal, particularly beautiful when illuminated.
The decanter is signed Baccarat, confirming its manufacture by the celebrated French crystal house. The design is also documented in period Baccarat reference material, as illustrated in the accompanying catalogue image.
It is preserved in excellent vintage condition, with beautiful clarity and brilliance and no significant defects noted.
