À vendre : Montre de poche chronographe antique rare Alfred Lugrin - argent fin 0,900
Up for sale is a stunning and historically significant antique pocket watch featuring a high-grade chronograph movement crafted by the renowned Alfred Lugrin. This piece is a must-have for serious collectors of horological history.
Condition Report:
Casing: The substantial case is crafted from 0.900 fine silver, clearly stamped with the corresponding hallmarks (as seen in the detailed photos). The case is in good overall condition, exhibiting the expected signs of age. The front cover shows more natural tarnish and patina, while the rear cover features a beautifully preserved, fine guilloché decoration. Please note that the watch bow (the loop at the top) is not silver.
Movement: The watch is powered by the highly regarded Alfred Lugrin column-wheel chronograph caliber, visible beneath the hinged dust cover. Based on our inspection, the movement is fully functional, winding and running smoothly, and the chronograph start, stop, and reset functions operate correctly.
Dial: The white enamel dial is in truly immaculate, flawless condition, with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. It features crisp black Roman numerals and classic blue steel spade hands, including the central chronograph hand. It has a two sub-dial layout: constant seconds at the 6 o'clock position and a 30-minute recorder at the 12 o'clock position.
Crystal: The original glass crystal is present but shows noticeable scratches, as visible in the images.
