The pen features the characteristic large Meisterstück 149 profile, deep black resin body, gold-tone fittings and the traditional white Montblanc emblem on the cap.

The large two-tone nib is marked “4810” and “14K”, together with the Montblanc emblem. The original “M Germany” sticker is still present on the barrel, indicating a Medium (M) nib.
