Vinification parcelle par parcelle, fermentation spontanée et élevage total de 24 mois en fût, suivi de 12 mois supplémentaires en bouteille avant la mise sur le marché.

NOTES DE DÉGUSTATION:
Fruits rouges et noirs concentrés, prune, mûre, cacao, réglisse, truffe noire, notes florales et une minéralité saline distincte. Puissant et structuré, mais soyeux, équilibré et très persistant.

Masseto is one of Italy’s greatest icons and one of the world’s most sought-after expressions of Merlot. Produced from the celebrated blue-clay terroir of Bolgheri, it combines impressive concentration with elegance, precision and outstanding ageing potential.

GRAPE:
100% Merlot

VINIFICATION AND AGEING:
Parcel-by-parcel vinification, spontaneous fermentation and a total of 24 months in oak, followed by a further 12 months of bottle ageing before release.

TASTING NOTES:
Concentrated red and dark fruit, plum, blackberry, cocoa, liquorice, black truffle, floral notes and a distinctive saline minerality. Powerful and structured, yet silky, balanced and exceptionally persistent.
