Vintage German "Napoleon Hat" Mantel Clock Mechanism & Case Parts - Bim-Bam Gong, 1930s

Up for auction is a genuine vintage German "Napoleon Hat" (palană de Napoleon) mantel clock from the 1930s–1940s, offered as a rich source of original parts or as a restoration project.

The lot includes:
- Original Wooden Case: Classic Art Deco / Mid-Century curved shape with beautiful vertical veneer grain and carved side ornaments. Structural condition is very solid.
- Mechanical Movement: Solid brass plates stamped with serial number 27401. Features a dual-arbor design for time and strike.
- Bim-Bam Gong System: Complete 3-rod resonance block made of heavy cast iron with 3 parallel brass hammers and a fully operational transit lock/silent lever.
- Pendulum Bob: Original matching brass-finish pendulum disc (detached for safe transport but included).
- Level Adjusting System: Includes the rare two original underside leveling screws used for fine-tuning the escapement beat.

The clock is being sold "as is" for parts, repair, or restoration. The brass plates, gears, and gong components are clean with a beautiful authentic patina. No winding key is included.
