This Louis Vuitton Agenda PM is such a beautiful little piece of early-2000s LV history. Crafted in metallic silver Monogram Vernis, the glossy varnished calfskin is embossed throughout with Louis Vuitton’s oversized LV initials and Monogram flowers, creating a dimensional finish that changes beautifully as it catches the light.

The compact PM format was designed as a true personal organizer rather than simply a notebook cover. This 2001 Louis Vuitton Agenda PM is in remarkable condition for a piece now approximately 25 years old. The metallic silver Monogram Vernis remains beautifully glossy and reflective with excellent definition throughout the embossed Monogram. The agenda retains excellent structure, the stitching presents beautifully, the snap-tab closure remains crisp, and the coordinating interior is exceptionally clean and beautifully preserved.

The photographs show only very minor age-appropriate evidence of storage or handling rather than the discoloration, extensive color transfer, peeling or heavy wear frequently encountered on vintage Monogram Vernis pieces. Its overall presentation is outstanding for its age, and the survival of the original Louis Vuitton planner paper and accompanying materials makes the set even more special.

Louis Vuitton introduced Monogram Vernis under Marc Jacobs in the late 1990s, and the glossy embossed leather quickly became one of the house’s defining Y2K-era materials. Metallic and pale Vernis colors are particularly evocative of that period, while their susceptibility to discoloration and color transfer means exceptionally well-preserved vintage examples have become increasingly difficult to find.

The date code CA0071 is consistent with Spanish production in 2001, and the interior is visibly stamped LOUIS VUITTON PARIS made in Spain. The included Louis Vuitton material card further identifies the construction as varnished calf leather externally and calf leather internally.
