This is a brown and beige coated canvas handbag with cowhide leather trim from Louis Vuitton.

The Deauville is a structured, dome-shaped bowling-style bag with a double zip closure, rolled leather top handles and a front slip pocket. The interior is lined in textile with an open compartment and elasticated side pockets.

Observed condition details:
- Exterior: The coated canvas is intact overall with the monogram print clearly visible. Surface soiling, scuffing and general signs of handling are present. The base and corners show wear and pressure marks. The leather piping along the edges shows darkening and surface abrasion.
- Interior: The textile lining shows overall discolouration, staining and marks, particularly along the base and pocket areas. The elasticated side pockets show slackening and marks.
- Hardware: The gold-tone hardware shows dulling, surface scratches and loss of plating in places. The zip pulls show wear. The zippers are functional.
- Handles / Straps: The vachetta leather handles are darkened with a deep patina and show surface abrasion, creasing and staining. At the leather keeper tabs around the handle rings there is fraying of the leather surface and edges, as shown in the photographs. The bag remains usable in its current state.
- Stitching: Stitching is present and holding throughout, with fraying and surface wear at the handle attachment areas.

- Odour: A used-item odour is present, consistent with age and storage.
